‘Dance Karnataka Dance’ sets a benchmark for excellence in dance and the show presents itself in the form of the 'Biggest Battleground of Dance'. Generally, audience tend to give more importance to solo or duet formats of dance, as the complexities related to the same are very less when compared with group dance format. But, this platform of Zee Kannada takes the responsibility of making viewers understand the intricacies and delicacies involved in the group dance format by making the show purely group based. This show throws light on every dancer irrespective of his/her position or appearance and ensures that every dancer in the team is considered as a lead performer. The co-ordination and understanding between every dancer are the qualities that are put to test in this show. 14 teams are selected from across Karnataka and each team has around 10 dancers - where every dancer becomes a deciding factor for the success and/or elimination of the group.
