Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par is a story of glitz and glamour of Bollywood on one hand, and the rustic lanes of Lucknow on the other! Arya a 24 year boy leaves behind his friends, family and girlfriend, Niyati, and comes to Bombay to fulfill his dream of being a star! He may have left behind the narrow lanes of Lucknow, but he still carries the large-heartedness that the city instills in you. He looks forward, however, to the palace in the clouds… his dream-destination – the haven of stardom! And it is during this journey that his paths cross with Shikha – an established Bollywood Diva! The dreams demand their pound of flesh! The question is how far is Arya ready to bargain? How close will he come to Shikha who might hold the key to his first break? How far will he move away from Niyati, whose faith is his strength! What are prices he is ready to pay for his dreams? What are the values he is ready to forego?
